Pink, Pink, Pink...

This past weekend I walked with Lea and Jodi in the Susan G. Komen 3-day Walk for the CURE.  Sixty miles over the course of three days.  Sounds like a daunting task but we managed to cross the finish line with a bum knee(me), blistered feet(jodi), and sore hips(lea)!  For some reason, Lea's condition was the most funny!

In Atlanta this past weekend, there were nearly 2500 walkers and we raised a combined total of 6 million dollars! Absolutely amazing!  The 2010 3-Day for the Cure Series took place in 15 cities nationwide and raised more than $87 million.  Virtually every major advance in the fight against breast cancer in the last 29 years has been impacted by a Susan G. Komen for the Cure grant.  I can't say enough fabulous things about this event.  I think the three of us are forever changed.

Here are some photos from the weekend.
